2015-2016 Toronto Raptors Thread: We Have "It"!

Cory Joseph with his first game winning shot as a Raptor.  Game winning 3-pointer.  Raptors beat the Wizards 84-82

More than that, he may have actually broken Bradley Beal's ankles.

The Warriors....they aren't just beating teams, they are destroying them.    The Raptors are the only team to lose by 5 points on less.

Kobe Bryant announced that he will retire at the end of the year.  He's been unbelievably awful so probably the right move but he is going to leave a lot of money on his last year of his contract.

Some more brilliant officiating down the stretch of a game.  Lowry gets called for a foul on a clean block.  And then down by 1 with 14 seconds left the Raptors had the Suns trapped on an inbound and the ref calls an anticipation foul on what might have been a turnover due to shot-clock violation.

Tough loss.

Nice to see Noguiera getting some playing time.  He really should be part of the rotation and really doesn't have any business being shoved to the end of the bench.

The Raptors need to figure out these slow starts.  Whatever Casey is doing to get the team ready for the game isn't working.  Every game they go down big and have to claw back the rest of the game.

Doubly leg takedown, transition to arm bar on Curry in the 1st quarter, squeeze till you hear a crunch.

Yeah, that might cut his range down to 25 feet or so.

You know, Steph Curry is obviously on another level right now and there are some Russell Westbrook/John Wall partisans out there but Kyle Lowry is developing into a legitimate superstar. Averaging 22/6/5/2.5 spg while shooting 42% from 3 and 88% at the line.

There's really no question in my mind that, right now, he should be the starting PG for the East in the all-star game.

Great win.  The Raptors if anything look better than last year.  They need better consistency but the team is built more to Casey's style.  Joseph complements Lowry well in the 2-PG system considerably better than Vasquez.

Yes, that Jimmy Butler was a tour de force with a 40pt. performance and thus burying the Raptors.  As L.K. mentioned, talk about blowing leads.

C'mon Raps, you can do better!

Valanciunas got drafted for 9-months of Mandatory* military service.

*There is an exception for players who impact Lithuania on an international scale.
