Matthew and Campbell sit as well.  +/- Tavares.  Probably makes sense for both Spezza and Simmonds to play tomorrow.  If they are going to be in the lineup for Game 1 you probably don't want them off for a week.

I can?t imagine why Boston would try to win these games. They could play Carolina missing their two top goalies if they just lose.

Raanta is back and Freddie might be ready to go come playoff time. Add in the Canes went 3-0 against the B's outscoring them 16-1. Of course they haven't beat the Leafs yet this season either.

Even still, going though the Metro seems like the easier of the two paths available to them. Obviously, they're not going to throw the game or anything, but it does feel like the wrong move tactically.
