2021 Marlies Thread

Thanks GT, the game ended up on TV and they did look good. Duzak seemed to be all over the place as well. Abramov also seemed to play well.

Yup, there were lots of good in yesterday's game.
 
Time to give Curtis Douglas a few games in the bigs, 5 points in his last two games. Dude is huge, 6'9" and 240lb.  And he can play.  Give Spezza a rest, I wouldn't mind seeing Kerfoot, Douglas and Steeves for a few games while we rest the old guys.
 
Our Ovi has landed..Hope to see him in the lineup soon..going to a few games next week.

At the Marlies game, up 2-0 after 2. Woll got hurt and replaced by Hutch in the 2nd.
Just gotta say SDA looks like he will make it one day. Got the hands and the vision and I've seen it every game I be been too. Also nod to Hollowell...small d man but he doesn't play small. Great skater, passer and has great vision. Hoping next week to see our Ovi play.

Thanks for the update GT, Woll seems to injure real easy, hope he is Ok.  Hope both SDA and Hollowell can manage some Leaf time in the near future.

He got run over so I don't know about getting hurt easy. I'm so impressed by Hollowell. He's small but he never seems to make mistakes. So quick with his decision making and he's a great passer. SDA is crazy good though. Kid can fly and so good with the puck. Scored a beauty today..I think Duszak gets traded by Monday.
Wondering where Ho-Sang is though...haven't heard anything.

It does seem that with the right teammates he should be able to Brett Hull himself to a fair number of goals in the NHL.

He might be an interesting reclamation project to replace Dermott as the 6/7 guy... but not at $2.55mil.

Except that he?s one of the weird instances where a buyout leads to extra cap space in the first season. I wonder if that?s the intent there - pick him up after the season to buy him out for ~$600k extra cap.

Good point. Yeah as an UFA and under $1mil I'd give him a shot.
