What's wrong with you?  It was in Ottawa, he's the highest scoring player they have ever had, and despite our rivalry with Ottawa, couldn't
you turn it off for a meaningless game? The guy is total class and has
represented that city the same. It's obvious the other players hold him in such regard as well.

I'd never cheer for him when they play the Leafs but really....

It was a little much at times, but, at the same time, if they had this format a few years ago and the game was in Toronto, it would have absolutely been the Mats Sundin Tribute Show, so, meh. At least, they didn't go overboard and give him the MVP just because.

Since I don't really follow the Sens, I obviously didn't know much about Alfredsson's personal life. The coverage leading up to this game on him while a bit much (to say the least I think) was still very informative. Seems a great person and I've gained a good amount of respect for him. Now having said that, I'm full of all things Ottawa... So glad this thing is over.
