How does Phaneuf think that the best way to control Steen is with a stick thru the legs? No wonder he fell over. A 10 cent brain in a $7 million body.

It's not even that good a body.

Caps and Jackets are both winning. Leafs will probably be out of the playoffs at the end of the night.

Might be good news. If Leafs make playoffs, we see Randy next year again and knowing this management, a few extensions will handed out too.

Uh, new owners no? That and the Leafs can't veto anything, fwiw.

Wish I was a blues fan.

Well, I, for one, will be cheering them on through the playoffs.

I still remember when Pronger and Co had a three goal third period comeback against the Leafs. Long time ago. Yeah we have sucked for a long time.

I said it at the deadline when Nonis did nothing we we're going to be in trouble. Team has regressed this year. I've had enough for tonight. Have a good night everyone.

Between Dion, Clarkson, Randy and the rest of this soulless squad, the Leafs are a pretty dislikeable team right now.

How does Nonis not fire Randy on a 6 game regulation losing streak at this time of year?  I mean, at this stage you know you're going to do it after the season so why not get it done while there is still a prayer?

Totally agree with everything here.

It's kinda weird, but I'm pretty sure the way last year ended took the last bit of wind out of my sails when it comes to watching this team.

I'm happy if they win, but I don't let the losses faze me. It doesn't even particularly bother me that they might miss the playoffs again. If they make it in, awesome, if not, oh well.

I refuse to let a group of millionaires dictate my mood like I did for a few days after last year's Game 7 meltdown.

There isn't much of a prayer the way they're going, may as well let them hang themselves.

Are people more drunk than normal tonight or just feeling more owly than normal?

They were battling and Dion fell down. Just got outworked.

Ah, fair enough.

It my opinion it was how he got out worked. He was using his stick primarily and once he lost that leverage he was off balance and was easily pushed over. Real poor positioning by a veteran D man.
