I wish they would give him 5-10 games on a scoring line (off the 4th line) that needs a guy around the blue paint and 2nd PP ice time.
No time like the present.
Dial Bert back and hope that he figures out how to score goals again. Who knows, maybe he does turn it on in the playoffs?

I mean I've talked about him a lot. Maybe not the talking heads though.
Lots have complained about Bert's production. Difference is Bert's effort is seldom lacking. Bert never lacks effort is the point.Joe said:Guilt Trip said:Lots have complained about Bert's production. Difference is Bert's effort is seldom lacking. I don?t agree with that at all. I?ve not seen anything from Bertuzzi away from the scoring side that?s in any way impressive.

Got nothing to do with skaking technique. Willy is flat out lazy at times.herman said:Guilt Trip said:Lots have complained about Bert's production. Difference is Bert's effort is seldom lacking. Not saying this is the case in these two players, but there is something to the appearance of effort and effectiveness.
Bertuzzi has terrible skating so everything actually takes and looks like a lot of effort. Nylander has that Swedish-instilled calm-upper body skating technique so it appears effortless when he?s really going; he definitely makes very judicious applications of effort so when he dogs it at the end of a shift after multiple failed drives, it?s very obvious. Whether any of that is actually effective shows up on the stats sheet eventually.
