You know for all the shit people would give nylander for his salary and his effort/production compared to the almost nothing you hear about Bertuzzi and his salary/production is puzzling.

Might have to do with being one of the highest paid players in the league. People probably expect more.

He was not at his current contract.

Lots have complained about Bert's production. Difference is Bert's effort is seldom lacking. Willy on the other hand

I don?t agree with that at all. I?ve not seen anything from Bertuzzi away from the scoring side that?s in any way impressive.

Bert never lacks effort is the point.

Well I don?t know what I?m watching but I?ve not seen some stellar end to end play from Bertuzzi.

Flip McMann for Bert the rest of the way.  59 has done nothing to deserve being in the top 6.

I wish they would give him 5-10 games on a scoring line (off the 4th line) that needs a guy around the blue paint and 2nd PP ice time.

No time like the present. 

Dial Bert back and hope that he figures out how to score goals again.  Who knows, maybe he does turn it on in the playoffs?

If you project McMann's goals over equivalent ice time as Bertuzzi, playing with Kampf and no PP ice time, McMann scores 10 goals to Bertuzzi's 6. Put him with some decent offensive players and a little PP ice time, he could help score some goals.

No guarantees but it is not that nuts to try it.
