Well, there was no doubt who wins that game. I was proud how the Czechs played, though. I expected it would be more one-sided affair, the Czechs hang on for surprisingly long time. Their best player Petr Mrazek, gaolie, has some skill and talent and could make the NHL one day. Good pick for Detroit.

As speedy and talented as the Czechs were, they couldn't put anything past Canada's solid netiminder Scott Wedgewood.  He exhibited confidence, poise, and a keen sense of 'reading' the puck... something one can't quite say about Mark Visentin.

So far though, so very good.
 
Man. When the Danish team's best player is--equal to or less than-- the worst player on the Canadian team, it's like a turkey shoot out there.
