Canada Announces Players Invited to Camp for World Juniours

There's a barn burner going on in Calgary right now. When I jumped to this game it was 3-0 Russia after the 1st. Sweden has come back and tied it with 39.8 seconds left in regulation. All of Sweden's goals came in the 3rd period. They're going to OT with a bye to the semis on the line.

EDIT: Sweden has won it with 2:16 left in OT. Canada will face Russia or the Czech Republic in the semis.

They made reference to the suspensions several times during the Denmark-Czech Republic game last night. Haven't seen a clip of it, but apparently the coach wasn't too impressed.

It was pretty funny. I'd say the coach overreacted. He could have made his point without suspending the players. They were having a little bit of fun. That's what this game is supposed to be about.
 
Swedes tie the semifinal game with Finland in the last two minutes.

Too bad. Swedes will probably win the game now and move on to the finals.

That will go down as one of the stupidest moves by any goalie in sports. As bad as Fleury's move.
 
Two blatant penalties against Sweden (including too many men on the ice) were not called in overtime.
 
nice one Granlund...I think that we deserved the win though...however some of the finnish players are quite impressive...

More I think, but I'm not sure. And as for penalties, the refs missed other things too. Like on the finnish 2nd goal, there was a slashing on the swedish player. And maybe the refs felt guilty after standing in the way of the swedish player, when he was supposed to clear it.
