A canucks player yelling in the hallway: "Matt Martin's dead. Everyone can hear it. Matt Martin's dead."
Teams play again Dec. 3.
What's hilarious is hockey media spinning Martin's behavior as a dirty and using the above quote as an example of how angry it makes vets.
No comment on the actual death threat.
Unreal.

This angle makes it look like a pretty clear headshot.

Actually, even with that angle, the arm (on point of principle contact) moved from impact before the head did.

McGarnagle said:Couldn't he be suspended just on the basis of it being a blindside hit alone, regardless of point of contact?

I think this video provides a pretty good look at it, seems shoulder to shoulder:

Chris Johnson agrees and provides evidence of a similar hit that went unpunished by the DOPS last season:

I'll admit it's a dangerous and reckless hit, I just don't see the head contact stuff. And maybe if Sedin was properly wearing his helmet we wouldn't be talking about it as much.
Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
No hearing/supplementary discipline for Nazem Kadri hit on Daniel Sedin last night.

This is what I thought.
I bet they give him 2.

Well, there we have it.
