It's nice to see the team standing up for each other.  It's also nice I guess that the referees have decided to actually call instigators today

I'm ok with it. Team has had no response like this in a long time. Let other teams know that this crap isn't going to be tolerated. Sucks that they jump in and have to defend another PP but good on Max and Gio.

Oh I am too.  I mean the PK needs to be remotely competent though and right now it isnt

This is a mismatch, but good on Domi for making a solid run

Again, though, nothing wrong with the hit.
Doesn't matter. People were crying they don't stand up for each other and now they do and people are complaining.

I don't think anyone should have to answer for a clean hit.  Dumbest "code" in hockey.

I know they've had to kill 2 penalties but 3 shots aint going to cut it.

Now it looks like they took 1 shot away so 2 shots.

Ya I agree and if so find a time in the game where you can still drop the gloves but not get the extra 2. Marchand's hit was cheap and no reason not to go after him right away.

Sure, that's a different story.

But that's the way it is. Gio's shouldn't have been an instigator... He gave the guy plenty of warning... Domi jumped the guy.

End result is 2 goals against.  I guess it "sends a message" but having 2 shots in the whole period sends another kind of message.

Look, I myself said after the Boston debacle that it's a game of emotion as well as skill.  But uncontrolled emotion rarely works out well.  I don't hate that Gio and Domi stood up for the guys.  But better to pick your spots.

Klingberg really doesn't look any different than the last time he played.  He's really fighting the puck.

Given the obvious significant issue with net front defending and our terrible PK it would be awesome if they find a way to reallocate his spot for a guy who can fill that role

I did notice he made some nice zone exits.  But he's just the wrong guy for what the team needs.

The message is the other team can throw clean hits AND get a PP chance out of it too. Save those "sticking up for teammate" moments for the dirty hits at least.

Hey giving Vancouver yet another PP. Not really a great approach on the back half of a back-to-back
