Part of me doesn?t feel like it would be a bad thing. Move the pending UFAs for whatever picks/prospects you can. Add some depth to the system or use them to get upgrades in the summer.

Maybe this team needs a mini-reset.

The boat has sailed but I wish we had a way to see the alternate reality where Dubas stays and gets to make a big move before July 1st.
 
Expected goals means nothing when the score is 6-4 but Martin Jones has an expected goals against of 2.206 in this game.
Demko's is 2.484

The team would be different, but I?m not sure it would necessarily be better. Needed to chase too many NHL ready parts from outside the organization. Depth scoring was an issue for most of Dubas? tenure. Would almost certainly still be. Goaltending would be unlikely to be better. Age caught up with key defenders. A not insignificant part of this mess is on Dubas.
