I think we might not make the playoffs this year.

Part of me doesn?t feel like it would be a bad thing. Move the pending UFAs for whatever picks/prospects you can. Add some depth to the system or use them to get upgrades in the summer.

Maybe this team needs a mini-reset.

The boat has sailed but I wish we had a way to see the alternate reality where Dubas stays and gets to make a big move before July 1st.

The team would be different, but I?m not sure it would necessarily be better. Needed to chase too many NHL ready parts from outside the organization. Depth scoring was an issue for most of Dubas? tenure. Would almost certainly still be. Goaltending would be unlikely to be better. Age caught up with key defenders. A not insignificant part of this mess is on Dubas.

We'd be saddled with Karlsson which would be irresponsible imo.

Jones killed it...both were cheap ass calls for what had been going on..especially Gios

Leaf players take so much physical abuse around the net. I wish our defenders punished opposing forwards the same way.

I appreciate McCabe and Benoit trying, but it's not near enough. I miss Schenn. Zadorov would have been a huge add and I don't believe the "couldn't afford" nonsense.
