This seems like severe incompetence if we are looking at this with the most charitable light.

That should be grounds for removal from the legislature. He's actively and proudly putting lives in danger.

This is the entire Republican Party in the US.  Can we remove them all too?

Yay freedom!  ::)

I haven't read the decision but doesn't this open the doors for other, non-religious, groups to also file challenges?

That would be great, but I think we?d only be able to remove the more vocal ones as it relates to the pandemic. Their day-to-day actions to put lives in danger won?t have enough support.

As the kids would say... f*$k around and find out.

Is it just me, or are they being quite gentle about this flagrant defiance.
My understanding is they can only issue fines so if that's indeed the case I don't know what we should expect.

This would be the first real action they've taken, and hopefully it just escalates from here if/when he continues to operate. He's also been slapped with several charges so far, including the failure to even have a freaking business licence.

Both of Barrett's early decisions have been to kill people.

This one just floors me. There's multiple locations, they have staff, etc. There's so many steps along the way where this should have been flagged, and, yet . . . EDIT: So, it turns out, it was taken away from him on Tuesday.

COVID restrictions aside, he should not be allowed to re-open until he has a business license - and, considering his current behaviour, I would hope his applications would be denied. This dude should not be anyone's boss.

It really is strange how so much of what I've seen during this pandemic, to me, speaks to the best of humanity and what we're able to accomplish with collective effort and sacrifice while at the same time I'm filled with so much doubt about our cohesiveness when so many people turn into such caterwauling infants when inconvenienced even slightly from doing the exact thing they want to do in the exact way they want to do it.
