How? As DeVos clearly pointed out after the match, the play was offside in the first place. It was clearly three mistakes by the officiating. The missed offside, the missed goal, and then the yellow card right after that occurred, which would never have had happen if the first call is made.

1.  i posted that right when it happened.
2.  I'm not sure the argument should be ...well they screw up consistently so therefore we shouldn't have goal reviews in soccer...

That's not what he said, he was speaking from England's point of view. Italy could say the same thing about Rooney but there is no denying that Balotelli has a volatile personality and is liable to lash out at any given moment.

I understand that, but trying to get under a player's skin could apply to pretty much anyone with some passion in their play.  Just look back to 2006 and Zidane snapping.  There are players on England (like you mentioned Rooney) who are just as liable to snap as Balotelli so it can go both ways.  Hopefully for me, Balotelli keeps his cool and helps Italy to a win.

He didn't say it couldn't go both ways or that England doesn't have players that could do that. He was just identifying Balotelli as a player like that in response to a question about Balotelli.

I get the feeling that if someone said that about Rooney, you wouldn't be saying anything.

Not at all, italian fans know how volatile Balotelli can be, doesn't mean aggravating him is a key to the game.  I'm pretty sure every team Italy plays against tries to target Balotelli in a similar way.  Like the guy mentioned, he's only 21 and his age could be a huge factor in some of his behavioral issues. 
 
0-0 at the half ..i'd say that benefits portugal as it seemed like the czechs were better for most of that half..though the porteuguese seemed to come on at the end .. postiga is out for portugal so i'm sure that'll be a bit of a blow
