Flyers @ Leafs - Mar. 8th, 7:00pm - CBC, SN 590

I mean, even if you are the sort of person who buys into the "momentum" argument for fighting in hockey isn't that a picture perfect example of how the Leafs, or any team with a lead, shouldn't fight?

So the Leafs are a team that lives and dies on the rush. So on the PP they start dumping the puck in with no support. Makes sense.

Yeah Rielly did that a couple times without any success.  Carrying it in is definitely a better way to set up.  I'll give him a pass though.  Everyone looked out of sync.

At least they didn't concede two goals?

What an awful play by Kessel. Gives the puck away and then lets his man go all the way for the goal. He's having a brutal game.

And now we are going to have to listen to the smug announcers saying we told you so....

Right into the middle of the net.

Why couldn't Mason keep being a sieve?

Isn't the trailing player the C's responsibility?  Trying to remember from when I played!

That's what the Orr/McLaren did all last year.  Their fights were all in tie games or with the Leafs leading.  Other teams don't engage fights when their team is up.

This really isn't the part of the season where we want Bad Phil to start rearing his head.

Would have helped if Carlyle made a line change on that Flyers icing. Kessel was tired too.

This game's far from over.  I wonder why these announcers haven't caught on to that yet?  Clueless.
