The first period the Komisarek-Gardiner pairing was shaky but yeah, since then he has played well.

In the Sportsnet Burke interview, he mentions that this is where they envisioned Komi to play. Burke also said that he is a bit overpaid, but that it's the GM's fault for that, not Komi's. Gave him a real vote of confidence there to start the season.
 
Besides the first period the leafs look great. How good is Mike brown anyway? Man, that guy brings it.

Steckel = awesome. The OK looks much improved with himand Dupuis.

I'm really impressed with komisarek as well.

Kessel has to be WAY harder on the puck and be willing to take the hit. The almost scored twice when he failed to get the puck out..
 
You know, Devils fans can laugh all they want at us getting Steckel (as seemed to be the HFBoards theme), but if all he does is win draws like this I will be more than pleased.

Funny I thought he said something similar about Kessel during the CP24 interview.
