OMG.  I just got back and tuned in..... I guess Scrivens wasn't the answer?

McFate you're the lucky one to have not witnessed this crap. I missed the 1st period came home 1-0 figured looks like a good game maybe. Downhill from there after.

Oh, so this is YOUR fault!

Nothing to do with Scrivens. Just another team wide no show against the Bruins.

Really jeering Gustavsson when he touches the puck Toronto?

What a retarded crowd.

They did that on his first shot on net. Idiots. I agree Scrivens may not have been on his best but the team has flat out stunk and left them out to dry.

The players don't even seem like they are as furious as the fans here...grab someone and pummel them FFS!!!

Send a message for the next game or at least try.

I'll take the blame. LOL.

Any time a guy starts a scrum/fight after a clean hit they need to give them an automatic 5 minute penalty for instigating.  Stop with the useless stupid scrums any time a legitimate hockey play is made.

Well this result is just a reminder that our record does, in fact, flatter us.  The question is how much.  No question we are better than last year, but ... how much, and whether it is enough, are still open questions.

I'd go 5 minutes and a game misconduct for unsportsmanlike.

Two plays in a row all 5 Leafs were on the left side of the ice, the puck goes into the corner on the right side and Boston has a free clear of the zone.  Why is that such a common occurrence on a Leafs man-advantage.  It's not like they aren't able to go into the corner because they are in front of the net.  They stand 10 feet away from the net and still don't bother to fight for pucks in the corner.

All that being said.  The worst case scenario after tonight is that the Leafs are tied for 1st in the Eastern conference and are 1 point out of top spot in the NHL.  Best case, they are still #1 in the league (need an Edmonton loss) Hopefully this ends up being a wake-up moment and the Leafs come back with a stronger defensive effort.

On the bright side, only 1 of the 7 goals the Leafs have given up tonight was on the PK. ;D

Yeah but they've only had 2 PP's. 50% on the PK. Yippee.

You're just completely incapable of looking at anything in any sort of positive light, aren't you? That makes me sad for you.

Well at least we can stop hearing about how great their 5 on 5 record is, they flushed most of that tonight.
