Game 15 - Panthers @ Leafs - Tues 11-08 - 7 PM SportsNet

On the flip side, Theodore has played very well for the Panthers, and, if not for him, the Leafs could have very well have taken a substantial lead in the 2nd before Gustavsson screwed the pooch.

I think this game, maybe even more than the Boston game, is a good showcase for how bad the Leafs are all-over right now. They were nowhere in the first period, have shown up in the last half of the game but haven't been able to get back in it because they've just been unable to execute.

This period seems really disappointing.  There is very little urgency in the Leafs play.  They have had some great chances but there are a lot of plays where the Leafs are waiting for the puck to come to them rather than being aggressive.  Florida isn't going to turn the puck over when they have 4 men back at all times.

The 3 goals that should not have been really sucked the life out of them.

While I certainly agree that it's hard to come back from that, after two games in a row where they completely no-showed on the goaltenders (Scriven's bailed them out pretty well in Columbus), maybe they shouldn't give up?  Really they have played 2 decent periods (the 1st period in Columbus and the 2nd in this game) in the last 3 games.

However wow.  That's another terrible goal given up by Scrivens.
No luck whatsoever as the Leafs have had a few really good scoring chances with no luck and everything Florida throws at the net goes in.

Something really needs to be done about this before the Leafs completely undo their strong start.

We are a bloody horrible team. We can't even rally and get it together after a bad loss. Instead we crap the bed again. What the hell.

But Scrivens is 'quiet' in net apparently.

He, unfortunately, has a little Pogge-itis going - look really good in your first NHL game, struggle in the next few. Hopefully, he gets over it soon.
