I was starting to worry I'd never be able to say this, but Kadri is really looking like the best forward on this team.

I call it even steven.
Kadri was better, it resulted in a goal, Giroux's move was prettier, but thanfully, no goal.Zanzibar Buck-Buck McFate said:OK, which was better: Giroux's move or Kadri's pass?

As much as I love Kadri's play, had Giroux scored there, pretty sure it would be a GotY candidate.

I really would like to see him on the ice with Kessel on the PP. You are risking more dumps because of lost faceoffs but I think he makes up for it with his ability to make the creative plays that the Leafs seem to avoid doing with Kessel sitting on the half-boards.

Giroux's play was just absolutely dirty, not just the deke going outside, inside, but to pull the puck back in and try and get Scrivens after he pulled him off the post would have been incredible had that gone in. Not just a difficulty play, but he was at his top speed while doing it.
Kadri's play is pretty much just par for the course for the guy. He's a couple of inches and 20 pounds away from being a completely unstoppable force. He has Sundin's ability to make plays despite having guys all over his body.
