Game 24: sens @ Leafs - Mar. 6th, 7:00PM - TSN, TSN 1050

Very, very sloppy but it's 2 points any way you cut it.

In a way this is better than the Leafs just dominating Ottawa and playing a near-perfect game. They played pretty badly overall and have a lot of things to actively try and improve going into tomorrow rather than resting on any laurels.

Agree if there is anybody they have something to prove against, it's obviously Boston.  Maybe they can tighten up and do some damage.

I wouldn't say they played badly, but they did look scrambly at times, and they didnt play well the last 10 minutes of the game.

However, as long as we find a way to win that's all that matters.

Ugh.  This team can't afford to piss away 4 goals without getting a point.  It usually takes them a week to score that many.

C'mon, Bish.  You know Lehner is breathing down your neck right now.

@THNKenCampbell: Zach Smith of Sens said McLaren "was asking (Dziurzynski) to fight as soon as we got on the ice. That's what McLaren does."

And it took him a whole 26 seconds to accept, at least he used his fists and not his stick like you Zach.

Wouldn't be surprised if Ottawa tied this game. The Leafs have been horrible since the 1st period. I really don't understand how the Leafs keep winning games.

Because they aren't as terrible as you make them out to be?

Hmm....no, I don't think that's it.

And?

Thanks Zach.

On the road and missed this one  :(.  Just read through the GDT before anything else.  What the hell kind of game was that??

Yes. McLaren is a fighter. I'm glad Zach Smith brought this to our attention.

honestly a strange one...mostly the leafs getting a 3 goal lead..almost squandering it..then getting another one ..and again almost squandering it ...it felt like a mix of ottawa only getting interested when they were really behind and the leafs busy looking forward(dreading?) tomorrow night

I recall thinking a few games ago if we won a few in a row we could take a loss against Boston.  I really hope we can pull something off against Boston though.  I think Grabbo should plant Chara into the ice.
