Marty St Louis just took out Jimmy Howard in the Detroit v Tampa game with a trip below the knees and got called for nothing... No consistency around the NHL at all

It's very consistent.  Injury = no call for some reason.  :o

Reimer, Miller, now Howard no calls.  BS like we just witnessed and "the league wants to protect the goaltenders".

I think Lucic got a penalty on the Miller one.

I'm pretty sure Gionta got called for interference when he smoked Reimer too.

No call at all on Gionta that I recall.

From the boxscore of that game:

1st Period
1:15 Montreal interference with goaltender - 2 min B. Gionta drawn by J. Reimer

Did that really happen 1 minute into the game? It didn't happen that early....

That I can't recall. He stayed in the game until the end of the period, so when the hit actually happened is a little fuzzy. It certainly could have been the first minute. It would be strange if the boxscore had it wrong ...

Well, half way through and we're definitely competing at least!

Even if they end up losing this game, if they play the second half of the game the way they did the first then they have nothing to be ashamed of.

I remember Lupul sounding especially POed after the last drubbing the Bruins handed them. Maybe that rage still burns!

Just watched on YouTube, that's when it happened, 1:15 of the first.

Lol at Thomas looking behnd himself at the screen while the puck lands in front of him.

Still makes the save though, annoying.
