Game 25: Bruins @ Leafs 7:00PM TSN

Why does Boston have a better forecheck than the Leafs when the Leafs are trailing.  That was a 3-4 minute period of the Leafs handing Boston the puck by "dumping" it and not sending a hard forecheck and then they just let Boston have their way with the front of the net yet again.

Can't help but think they could have used Franson more than Aulie tonight.

Yeah, I have no idea what that's about. Other than testing the sanity of Franson for being bumped by another rookie.

You aren't going to win with as many penalties as we took.  And BOS has outplayed us in the dirty areas.  They are dominant right now.

I'm personally just glad we dressed Rosehill, then double shifted Kessel in his place as he played 3.07

Too bad, the forecheck and cycle failed them, mostly just timing... well except for Schenn, that's a bad Schenn!

Back to the drawing board in their own end.  It seems like they are constantly getting caught staring at the puck and not doing much else.  Tying up your guy should be automatic for Schenn.

Well, not a terrible game, but too many penalties and a couple of bonehead plays killed us. For the most part a good effort though. :-\

The one thing I will say is that when you play a team that is very close to playing a perfect MONTH of hockey, the Leafs didn't exactly make themselves look bad tonight.  If they lose, there were better signs than earlier in the year against a team that is playing like they really want to repeat.
