Game 25: Bruins @ Leafs 7:00PM TSN

Ferraro mentioning the Bruin's being healthy makes me wonder if there is a voodoo curse we could look into.  Something with boils, if possible.

The one thing I will say is that when you play a team that is very close to playing a perfect MONTH of hockey, the Leafs didn't exactly make themselves look bad tonight.  If they lose, there were better signs than earlier in the year against a team that is playing like they really want to repeat.

Yeah, the gap isn't that big in this game.  Boston is by far the hottest team in the league, so much of the gap in the game can be attributed to a team at the peak of their confidence right now, and as they are the defending champs, that's a scary thing.

Phaneuf did not have a good game.  I don't know what his problem was tonight but he backed off on a lot of guys along the boards tonight and was handing the Bruins the puck without making them work for it.

19 goals in 3 games against.

I agree.  We are far from being in their league at the moment but we were in the game until that Lucic goal.

6-3 doesn't look very good on the scoresheet...shots in the 3rd don't look good either.  Even though they were one shot or bounce away from tying it the 3rd was simply not good enough and maybe the team just isn't good enough to handle Boston at the top of their game.

Somebody said he has looked hurt the last few games. Might be right.

So Lucic and Krejci both come in with sizeable slumps and they both score.

Always happens that way.

What about Grabovski not registering a point in 6 and then scoring tonight?  Does it always happen that way for Boston, too?

I think that's the thing.  Boston has an extremely good team.  Thomas is still probably the best goaltender in the league, Chara is probably the best defenseman, they arguably have the best set of checking forwards in the league, they now have one of the top offensive players in the game (Seguin) who happens to be one of those really good two-way player kind of guys and they have a bunch of guys who aren't 30-40 goal scorers, but a lot of guys who are solid 20-30 goal scorers.
