Game 26: Penguins @ Leafs, 7:00pm - CBC, NHLN-US,ROOT-PIT

Reimer has not been good but to be fair on the last one that guy was wide open forever

The guy who took the shot?  I would think a goalie would be in favour of an unscreened point shot from a ways out.  It's what happened after that really sucks.

That isn't entirely on Reimer either.  The shooter had forever to put it on the pads for a rebound, and then there was only 1 Leaf and 2 Pitt players in front of the net.  Basically 4 Leaf skaters being useless on that play

Yeah that's what I was getting at with what happened after - group effort on that one.

Yeah the plan of the Kadri line dominating 3rd line play might not work so well against Pittsburgh who can just play Crosby and Malkin for almost 30 minutes each

So with line matching Kadri's line will see little ice-time.

Down 3-1 I hope Carlyle realizes it's less about trying to keep Crosby/Malkin off the score sheet as it is about creating offense to tie the game.

On another note, how many ES goals does our #1 line have? I'd guess not that many (by comparison to other teams).

And with McClement moved to Grabovski line, it's basically a 3 line team now, and if he's strict about line matching then it'll be more like a 2 line team.
