Suggestion to Coach: Lose that nickname, posthaste.  First, because it's going to cause spelling problems for the reporters, and second, because even if you pronounce it like his real first name, it's pretty close if not identical to how Churchill pronounced the name of his enemies.

I think your being too sensitive.

Is the late season return of Lupul and Gardiner like adding two huge trade deadline acquisitions?  Feels like it so far, the team is significantly different than just one week ago

It's like we traded Beauchemin all over again!

Ha!

Kadri is amazing... He sort of reminds me of Claude Giroux a litttttlllee bit.  Hopefully he keeps this up, our #1 center might be right under our nose.

Stating the obvious but Lupul really helps balance out the lines and gives us 2 real scoring threats.

And congratulations to Radko Gudas on his first NHL goal!

I really do see a little "Killer" in Kadri. If his defensive game was stronger (and there's plenty of time for it to be) people would be saying that more I think.

I really don't have much issue with the nickname, other than it being pretty lame. I certainly don't link it to Churchill's mispronunciation.

Agreed, it's the lameness that's the problem.  :) Shortening a two-syllable name to a .....oh, two-syllable name is just not necessary. Call him "Naz" if they want.

I hadn't even considered it might sound/look like Nazi because it's obviously just a twist of his first name.

Kadri: "I?m not surprised at all. I knew I could provide this type of offence and it was just a matter of when. I worked my butt off."

Kadri played 14.5 minutes tonight 5-on-5 and 11 of them were against Stamkos and St. Louis.

I like the self-confidence he has.

Calling it right now, we go on a ten game stretch with seven wins and no regulation losses starting tonight.

2-0-2 Since this prediction.

8)

So they have to go 5-0-1 in the next 6 for your prediction to come true.

I will gladly bow down to you if this comes to pass.

no worse then shorting a name to a single letter like AJ, MJ, Mr T and etc.
