Game #37 - TOR @ CAR - Dec. 29th - 7:00pm - LeafsTV

What the he'll was Aulie doing there?

Leafs forward was backchecking too, he should have just had a quick out to him, instead he throws it over the glass.

Not that I think it deserves to be called necessarily but Harrison just played Grabbo and not the puck, which was not dissimilar to Frattin playing Spacek.

Never sure why one should be called and not the other. Call both or neither.

I like him, but I don't think I'd disagree or it would do him any harm. He could do with dominating and scoring a bit. Seems to have worked for Kadri and to an extent Colborne

Millen's analysis has been pretty good tonight.  The Leafs need to simplify the passing and get more on net.  The Canes' defense is very suspect.

Yeah, I mean, he's going to be a very good player I think, he just needs to tighten up his game. He's not to different from Gardiner in that regard, in terms of their development right now.

He already was sent down.  I would imagine he goes down when everyone else is healthy.

Yeah, I meant for more than 3 games. I suppose injuries did have something to do with that, but I'd like it to have something to do with his development, rather than numbers.

Sightly OT, cos the highlights are just on TV here, but how much attention do you guys pay, if any, to the Spengler Cup? Team Canada v Wolfsburg was on today.

None, actually. I've never even bothered to look up any details on the tournament - who are these guys?

Marty Turco is in goal.

Few other interesting names playing for the Euro teams though, Robbie Earl is guesting for Davos (on loan from Salzburg Red Bulls)
