Game 51: Pens @ Maple Leafs, 7:30 - No Meltdown, please!

Missed last nights game. Sounds like I missed a good game except for the result. Slow start to this one hopefully the next 2 periods are better.

I slowed that shot down on my pvr (1/15th second) and it sure looked like it went in through the net. I'm not kidding or waxing Leaf blue.... :P

Not a good sign when the first shot already beat Reimer. Thanks to the post.

You must run on some pretty good batteries to stay so bloody negative.

2 posts already. Either he's playing the angles so perfectly he's only giving them the posts, or he's getting beat by long shots.

No goals though, right?

The first one was a whiff, but the second one looked like it bounced off a couple guys on the way through.

Decent period but still worried about Reimer. He looks out of sorts. That last save he made before the buzzer was pretty solid though. Hope he gains some confidence from that. Pretty sad that I'm looking save to save for Reimer's confidence now LOL

I should be all chippy and excited you're right, it's not like we blew a 4-1 lead to this team just 24 hours ago or anything.

People complained about how soft Kabby was in his own end.  Gardiner is worse IMO.

So you'd rather have Kabby?

Even though I'm told he's over the hill, he'd bring more offense at the present time than Gardiner, now wouldn't he?

I don't have a hate on for Gardiner, but I do think he'd have been better served by playing for the Marlies this year.

Like you need a reason.

Supporting this team for over 35 years and never seeing a Cup might have something to do with it.
