So what's the deal with Gardiner? All I know is he's hurt but I don'y know what happened...

Was on the receiving end of a charge by a Rochester player in Saturday's game. Scored a goal on the ensuing second-period power-play, but didn't return for third, and didn't play today.

Seems the nature and severity of it is being kept quiet though... Just ill? I mean, I can't find anything anywhere.

"I haven't seen him, or talked to him today," is all Eakins said at the post-game scrum this afternoon, re: Gardiner update.

The Marlies will play two games this weekend. Tonight they head to Rochester to face the Americans at 7pm, and tomorrow afternoon they host Grand Rapid Griffins at 3pm.

Jon Abbott posted a preview for this weekends games if anyone is interested: http://blog.marlies.ca/pre-game-meal-4/

Some keys points:
-Keith Aucoin currently has 799 career AHL points, tied for 11th all time with Bruce Boudreau.
-Scrivens and Rynnas are likely to split the action this weekend. My guess is that Scrivens gets Rochester, as he's 4-0 against them.
-Gardiner is unlikely to play this weekend with headaches/whiplash/concussion-like-symptoms/not-a-concussion.

No streams are up yet but check these links closer to game-time: http://atdhenet.tv/, http://www.thefirstrow.eu/sport/ice-hockey.html.

Why does it seem like the AHL has all these short-turnaround times for games...?

Trying to watch the stream on Atdhe. Why are there two commentaries? Do you guys usually just play a radio commentary feed or something?

I'm not sure what happened, but typically they play the AHL Live broadcast which is just the feed from the home teams jumbotron and then they play the TSN radio broadcast on top of that.

Good to see another strong game from Frattin, Kadri and Ranger. The more I watch Ranger the more I believe he will be the one to crack the Leafs line-up.

Impressed by the line of Colborne, Ashton and Deschamps. Good luck possession. Great second effort by Kadri also.

What's up with Colborne this year? Still feeling the effects of the wrist? His numbers are downright brutal.

Not a surprise that Ashton and Deschamps are on the board now.

Goal by Hamilton!

Jussi Rynnas with another SO, his third in 5 games.

Certainly impressive, I keep questioning the D this team is playing thinking maybe that is why Scrivens has looked ordinary but then Rynnas keeps doing this.

Maybe the same issue that Boston brass had with him in that his effort is often lacking.
