Yeah, he said it was possible he'd be ready for the beginning. No guarantee, but the possibility of that makes it very encouraging!

If I have my Burke goggles dialed in correctly I think Gardiner is up by the end of February in a regular-ish-y role barring injury bringing him up sooner or general suckage dictating some form of necessity. He seems like the real deal but playing regularly in the NHL at that level is a very different beastie.
