I don't see how. I'm not claiming that the differences between them are just rebound-related.

When neither goalie has been consistent enough to be considered a true starting goalie? No.
RedLeaf said:How about now? After a win at the big house? It's pretty clear Carlyle has made up his mind, or is that Nonis?

Although I am surprised to see the number of starts each has had thus far. Seems like it's been even greater in Bernier's favor. Probably because he's come in and relieved Reimer four times.

I feel a little bad for Reimer - he needs a few games to get going, but with the way Carlyle's playing him, it's just not gonna happen.

Carlyle on Bernier: As long as he remains hot "it would be foolish to look another direction."

Didn't Reimer started a few in a row when Bernier was nursing an injury? I'm also pretty sure that the last game resulted in 3 goals against on 12 shots and Reimer being pulled.

Sure, but you can't expect him to be perfect, or get near-perfect after 3 games every time. That's the only time he's played 3 in a row this season.

So when a guy lays an egg and the other guy comes on to not only win that game for you, but puts you on a 'streak' playing fantastic, the other guy should be given another shot?

I'm not saying anything even close to that, and I have no idea where you thought I said that. All I'm saying is that Reimer hasn't really had an opportunity to get going the way he can. Bernier has had bad stretches too, but would go right back out after 1 or 2 games by Reimer.
