Golden Knights @ Leafs - Nov. 7th, 7:00pm - SNO, Fan 590

Marner stayed moving on that attack and helped draw a penalty. It?s a good sign his game is coming around.

Leafs struggling to generate as Vegas presses (on top of their PP opportunity). The Leafs can build some momentum with a good powerplay push of their own (if they can gain the zone)

All quiet on the thread because the Leafs are playing well and trying hard.

I just got home Herman. Judging by shots looked like a good 1st period?

Yup. We got a bit lucky with a crossbar shot but the Leafs largely help sway of play.

Maybe I'm the problem. 2nd period has been brutal. They need to figure out this PP.

Knit the body parts of Wilson, Horachek and Carlysle together to form a 9ft-tall super coach lumbering behind the bench and scaring the well-tanned board members.

Those point shots are so brutal. Like at some point they have to score a PP goal don't they? Like fuck man. Are we in the Twilight zone?

Fire Paul McFarland. There I said it.

Florida was #2 in the league in PP with McFarland as the PP coach last year.
Is he really the problem?
They need to just simplify things.
Far too often they try and get cute.

They?re going to talk about how the Leafs didn?t get many shots (Vegas did a good job) but what they won?t talk about is how ?carefully? the Leafs are attacking. No one blowing the zone early and everyone is trying to attack as a unit.

Uh, they didn't have any shots for like 13 minutes, which included a PP.  There's no way to spin that as a positive.

Maybe Hyman coming back will be like flipping on a light switch, but their whole offensive game so far this year has been off.  Often way off.
