Habs @ Leafs - Oct. 8th, 7:00pm - SN, Fan 590

Decent first period for the Leafs.

Disappointing start to the first intermission. Sorry Millard fans, I just can't take him as a serious hockey guy. The round table interview wasn't bad, though.

I don't mind them trying him out there in front of the net to screen/bang in garbage goals.

I'd just have liked to see him earn that spot through some good even-strength play first. If he isn't working out I'm sure they won't keep him there long though.

Yeah. I thought Marek was going to be handling those duties.

Was anybody else laughing hysterically while Millard was talking to the guys without sound?

That was pretty funny. How many billion dollars for the NHL and they can't get the sound working? And don't get me started on Kypreos and MacLean. Those guys fall over themselves trying to interrupt whoever is talking.

Sportsnet broadcasts are straight out of the early 90s. They were saying that they were going to update their sets etc, but it looks like same old amateur hour.

Incredible how they let them keep the puck away from them like that.  Completely abandoned the points.
Look I get that you don't like him, but don't talk shite.

The guy was a whisker from having a hat trick against Detroit and completely shut them down in the last game.
