Hurricanes @ Maple Leafs - Dec. 30th, 7:00pm - SN, TSN 1050

Nice takedown by Robertson there in front of the net. Someone called him soft - he's not soft. He's just too small and easily gets muscled off the puck. There's a difference.

Needs to add muscle to his frame. He's not smaller than a guy like Marchand.

There is one big difference you're not allowed to hit weasel. Or it seems that way.

Nylander took a penalty 180 feet from his net that CBJ scored on, and was a minus 3 on the night.  If you want to start making people accountable, start with your stars who should be an example for the rest of the team.

No. Sitting the player tied for 3rd in league scoring is completely asinine.

I actually find it funny Joe and maybe just maybe there will be changes soon. Whether it's coach, core or scrubs at least something.

Hey if that?s how you see it that?s cool. It?s just that it comes across as frustration and I just had to ask how is that enjoyable for you.

Yeah. Accountability is important and all, but it looks different for different players. You?re not gonna scratch someone like Nylander. You bench him in-game when he makes a big error or take him off the PP for a bit, but you don?t take that kind of weapon out of your arsenal completely.

Both are listed as 5'9 176-178 pounds. I would have thought Marchand had 10 or 20 pounds on Robertson. Surprised by that.

Been cheering for this team for 40+ years nothings changed just a passionate Wop. If it bothered me or caused me stress I'd be dead by now.

Funny thing: I think Robertson gets knocked off the puck more easily because he plays too ?hard?. Marchand and Kerfoot and other small guys know when to go Gumby and soak off momentum in contact.

Robertson could also use some of the shiftiness guys like that have. Marchand doesn?t take a lot of big hits because he?s good at avoiding contact.

We all have our opinions Bullfrog but like someone said on the panel do you think benching Kampf is going to put any second guessing with the stars that they may be next. Won't change a thing. All players should be held accountable and I'm telling you that is an issue with this team. The stars are pampered. Not the right culture. Keefe tried it last year with Mitch if you recall and he had to retract his stance. Bulls&&t.

I think part of that is the lack of pro games he's played. Just has missed so much development time due to injury.

I'll agree with Herman rat face is just smarter. The game where Lily got hurt there were times Marchand could have been hit even seconds after the injury and Leafs did squat. Marner I believe was right there and could have hit Marchand but did a flyby.
