Jays Roster Discussion

Stro-bro has been pitching very well
Sanshoe is trying, finger and all
Thornton has been very good in my estimation
Borucki was very good, lets hope he is back soon.

That front 4 is not all that bad, and I liked what I saw in Richards last game, seems very composed.

Let's hope we can start to string together some wins.

Is he a legitimate prospect or is this just a publicity stunt?  Either way, classy move by the Blue Jays?

I wouldn't call it a publicity stunt, as, outside those deep in the baseball world, it's not going to really get noticed. It is more of an goodwill type move than one with made without an intent on officially bringing him into the fold.

Gotcha, thanks.  Like I said, I think it's a classy move and am glad they did it.

Finally the new brass does something classy, lets hope they are learning from their myriad of mistakes

Trade rumours heating up.  Yankees interested in The Stro Show, that is Marcus Stroman.
Aaron Sanchez?s name pops up, too.

According to Ken Davidoff of The New York Post, the New York Yankees have ?spoken with the Blue Jays about starting pitcher Marcus Stroman.

Finally, Davidoff hints that Blue Jays starter Aaron Sanchez ?is very available?, though he draws no links between Sanchez and the Yankees at this point.

Hes the one pitcher I don't want to trade, he understands he plays not just for Toronto but Canada and that means something to him.  Who else can pitch???? Not like we have a plethora of arms waiting in the wings.

Blueprint for success:  a similarity between the Astros of yesterday and the Blue Jays of today:

Smoak and Jackson on the 10-day IL.

McKinney and Schafer back on roster.  Pannone goes to Buffalo (roster room for P Nick Kingham).
