Still waiting for Clarkson to show me anything above a 3rd line grinder.

Even third line grinder is generous at this point. He looks like Shayne Corson in that period right before he quit on the team.

The Leafs are getting all the shots so far. I don't understand.

Put him on a line with some offensive players and he's going to get chances and produce decently offensively. He proved that last season with Kadri and Lupul and in the first two games of the season with that same duo (I think?) before he got injured.

Leafs were the better team in the 1st. Nobody expected that.

Sometimes, losing a key player forces a team to pay more attention to detail for a little while. We'll see how long that lasts.

The team is skating so far anyhow.  It makes all the difference to not be sitting back and reacting to everything.

I like what I've seen from D'Amigo so far. Brings a similar energy to what Komarov brought last season. He needs to see a few more minutes a night.

Yep great hustle and doesn't try to do too much. Good 4th line mould.

I was thinking the same.  Paid like a 2nd liner, playing like a crappy 4th liner.  I'd rather have Ashton, Leivo, or D'Amigo in his position for a fraction of the price.
