Leafs 2012/2013 Schedule in 10 game chunks

I had a bad dream that Carolina shelled Scrivens to the tune of 7 or 8 goals.  I hope it's not prophet like.

(Edited by cw to remove discussions of posters - Ic9 did nothing seriously wrong. I just wanted to salvage the last part of his comment that was on topic)

OK, 4th game of this 10 game block coming up, bummer that Frattin is out.

Could we take this stuff out of my 10 game chunk thread?  :-\

I've tried. Hopefully, folks can get back on track.

PMs work real well for the personal stuff.

And now back to  Zees post. the 7-3 I predicted could be in trouble with some key guys out. I think Carolina may test it tonight.

Tonight's game I think we lose, but Saturday's game against the Sens suddenly got easier for some reason...

Sneak peak of games up to 40.  I highlited the game against the Sens on March 30th because it's the final game before the trading deadline...

I tend to agree, but if they could somehow pull off a win, I'd be more than pleasantly surprised.

Well, i guess I am wrong they arn't in trouble (3-0). and the best part they look like they have a strech of games that are all winnable. my 7-3 may be a tad low  ;D.

4-1 so far this ten. If this Florida trip is fruitful the season is looking good.

Of Note: Scrivens has been man of the match or honorable mention in last 3 games...perfect timing considering the injury to Reimer.

why are the leafs still positioned behind boston?

tied in points, played more games, have more wins and more ROW

is it because of less games played by BOS? or is it because BOS won the only head to head so far?

Answered your own question. NHL.com's standings page has all the tiebreakers explained at the bottom.

It is kind of strange.  Currently, only 7 of the 30 teams in the NHL have reached a point total of 20 or more, yet the Leafs sit 6th in the conference.  One of those weird type stats.  However a Leafs and Rangers win tonight would put the Leafs in 1st place in the conference.

And why does Boston never play?  Leafs already had two games in hand on them and then the Leafs play 3 in 4 nights and 4 this week while the Bruins don't play til Thursday and then not til Sunday again.  Play some damn games Boston.

After the Leafs game on Saturday the Leafs will have played 19 games vs the Bruins 14.
