They are collectively a group of losers.
We'll see. They have one more chance to change that narrative. But without Tavares or Muzzin, possibly something not right with Matthews...it would not surprise me at all to see them lose game 7.
There is nothing wrong with Matthews.  He just hasn?t got it done.

I honestly hate this team so much.

They deserved to win the way they played in OT.  But they never get it done.  One more chance on Monday.
Sorry but no we didn't, we played like garbage, the talent that's on this team we should be challenging for a cup not struggling to beat a loser team that wouldn't even be in the playoffs in a rugular season, this effort was unacceptable

Because of course. Man what is Campbell supposed to do there? I really think they can beat Price, he gets out of his net a lot and over commits but they still play a game where they don't get in his face, don't fake any shots, and let him see everything. He's going to stop all the shots he sees that don't get tipped. Man this is going to be brutal.

I'll say it again, they are going to win G7.  I think they will.

OK, I'm telling myself I think they will.  Why the hell not?  Might was well be positive.

Matthews 0 points again.

He's hiding an injury.  At least he'd better be.

Isn't every player at this point in the season? But I do agree, I think the wrist has flared up again.
Matthews is doing everything but scoring. I'm not worried about him. His line mates, that's another story.

Now that I can 100% get behind!

Muzzin is likely out for game 7? If so...that is not good, not good at all.

This is why they needed to put Montreal away in Game 5. They were so much better in the regular season, playing these extra games only really lets the bodies start to pile up to make the next round that much more difficult - and that is assuming they even get that far. The way they have played for long stretches of the last two games, I have no idea that they even get past the Habs.

So you work on the Leafs training staff?

Something doesn't look right with him. Just think back to how he looked in the first couple of games, then compare to the last 2. He looks a lot like he did during the season when the wrist was bothering him. Having trouble handling pucks, shots off the mark/weaker than usual.

If the Leafs do indeed lose the series, how can one not ask questions about the core? And would it really be reactionary or reckless to explore major changes?

They outshot them by what like 12-2 in OT? They absolutely deserved it in OT. The rest of the game... Not so much.

I'm going to give the Habs some credit. I think they have done a good job in minimizing the chances of that line. They have checked them closely. Marner has had some tough bounces so far, too, I think.

I think every Toronto sports radio personality is too blame for this since they already had them playing Winnipeg right after game 4 win  >:(
