Leafs @ Rangers - Dec. 23rd, 7:00pm - SN, TSN 1050

er, Ranger, how about you just let Rielly do the jumping up into the play thing?

That was great. Ranger came in and chipped the puck away from a good scoring area, effectively killing the Leafs' offensive opportunity while leaving them very vulnerable defensively.

Only started watching the game a little while ago, but the play seems to be in the Leafs end an awful lot.

They were better in the 1st. That's over now. Looks like they want to start their break a couple periods early.

That was crazy. And kind of fun...

Have the leafs had an offensive sequence like that any time this year?

All right, which one of you rigged Ranger's stick to break like that just to get him out of the lineup?  ;D

Edit: forgot the smiley  :P

Orr. Penalty box. Quelle surprise??.

::)

He may saved the goal, this is the penalrty I have least problems with

I think a better defensive player could have made a play on him but that's a tough one to ask either way.  Not going to fault him too much for that, and not much you can do when your stick explodes like that in general.

How is that play close?  McClement was right on him (no push) but Nash makes absolutely no effort to avoid the goalie.  The Leafs goalies get bowled over like that a lot and it usually goes uncalled.
