Carlyle just went with D'Amigo-McClement-Smithson for a defensive zone faceoff. So why is Orr even here?

Face punchery? Also, I love the fact that almost every time you hear Orr's name, it's followed by either "doesn't," "couldn't," or "can't."

I forgot he was a Ranger. Not to give a sense of entitlement, but I'd bet that's why he's back in tonight

Just to followup on your comment awhile back busta ... I will be rather pissed if they deal Gardiner.  Patience, patience, patience.

Hmm Kadri starts with JVR and Kessel. Stupid Sportsnet.

Sportsnet just got Carlyled!
You mean something like this?:
In an interview with Sportnet, they stated that they appreciate that Carlyle didn't beat around the bush, and that they deserved it.  Carlyle was not only pointing out that Sportsnet was bad, but that he was able to personally come and point each individuals every little fault.

So will I, which is why I feel it's inevitable. With the way some of the talking heads to going on about it, I suspect another poorly planned "shake up" deal will come down the pipes, akin to the mess that was the Clark and Schneider for Jonsson and a 1st.

This has been a pretty enjoyable first period, fast open and flowing hockey. Wish we'd managed to pot one, think we out chanced them.

I now expect a thoroughly flat second period.

Clarkson has also looked much better tonight too I think so far

I like that Kulemin-McClemment-Clarkson line

You're probably right, and I will let loose with a primal scream when it goes down.

Because slowly Gardiner is getting better defensively.  For ex, he made a nice little short pass there at the end of the period that resulted in a Lupul SOG.  Like Rielly, he'll still make glaring mistakes but if they stick with those two they'll have one-third of a very mobile defense that will play very well in a league that is trending toward speed and mobility.

I just flicked over to the Wild v Flyers game in time to see Luke Schenn score. Remember when we had him and not JVR?
