Thats why God invented copy and paste. did it in 2 second, rest of time hiking, golfing and visiting wineries here in AZ. Oh and spend a good amount of time with my pals at TML Fans. 8)

Being as I always thought that would be the time to trade him holding him out makes sense regardless of his health. Yeah, it would look good if he came back and lit things up but how likely is that given the state of the team(and what the state will be post deadline)? You'd be far more likely to see him not at 100% and struggle and be a less attractive proposition.

It just makes sense to sit him at this point.

I agree. I don't think the Leafs hurt his value by sitting him. Looking at his numbers, he's on pace for (nearly) his best season in the NHL while maintaining his average shooting percentage. Given the quality of the team he's playing on, I think he's already shown consistency and established his value. So risking his health doesn't really accomplish anything.
