Leafs @ Sharks - Mar. 11th, 10:30pm - SN, SN 590

Was that not one of the most idiotic plays that we've seen this year from Phaneuf?  He took out Lupul last year and now JVR.  His lack of foot speed is so apparent and is the cause of so many bad plays that he makes.

wow..okay..good night guys..i hope they reward you with a thrilling comeback..but that's about all i can take for tonight ..let's hope they remember how to play again on thursday..

is it just me or does it seem that the leafs can never just get blown out in a game..they tend to compound it by having someone injured in the game as well..

Gardiner has been crappy on D for the most part but he's been our best offensive player.  Nobody else looks even remotely dangerous.

I have no idea why we signed Phaneuf for another 7 million a year and for 7 more years.

Don't forget that Nonis also felt Clarkson was another 7 year cornerstone player.  Terrible decisions for both.

The Phaneuf signing was acceptable. It's a bit disheartening that his play has deteriorated after starting the season really well and getting his extension, but at least he's a good D-man.

The Clarkson deal is atrocious.

Perhaps one of the questions that JVR will have in the quiet room is if he thinks that the Phaneuf signing was good for the Leafs? :)

Good news that JVR is returning.  If he was out any length of time... well yeah, let's not talk about the fallout.

Phaneuf is having a tough night. He can't even injure his teammates properly.
