Leafs @ Sharks - Mar. 11th, 10:30pm - SN, SN 590

The Sharks are playing the Leafs with all of the seriousness, intensity and competitiveness of me playing a game of floor hockey with my 6 year old nephew.

I like this Gleason fellow.

I was just going to post that.  I was so frustrated that the Leafs traded for him.  I actually like him...and for more than just fighting. It is his willingness to block shots, protect the goalie and team mates.

Get lost Phaneuf.

He's honestly been embarrassing the whole game.  He had at least three shifts where he had no intention of playing hockey and tried to start a fight with guys who had no interest in engaging him.

Hockey really needs to institute something like Football where the teams just walk off the field when it's over even if there's time left on the clock.

Two minutes left and they have stars  out on the PP.

Real classy, ugh I'm gonna get so much abuse at work tomorrow.

Don't worry.  These guys always look like worldbeaters in the regs.  They'll choke in the playoffs.

"It was a moment where they play yesterday and we come out and we want to get on top of them a little bit and catch them a little tired," Pavelski said. "We were able to get the lead early."

"They played a lot in Anaheim last night so we wanted to wear them down," Sharks coach Todd McLellan said. "We felt that we could go at them with two lines, both Cooch and Jumbo?s. It didn?t really matter."

"It seemed like there was one puck and they had it," Carlyle said. "We didn?t get a chance to play with it."

Pretty much what I expected. Leafs play 3rd game in 4 nights on a travel day and Sharks rested. Amazed that people are surprised by the result.

The team never comes to play when Reimer is in net. If I were him I would be glad to be traded or signed somewhere else, that was painful to watch.

I did notice that there was alot of bumping the goalie with nothing being called. I was under the impression that the goalie in his cease was off limits. I guess I was wrong.

I began to hate Wingels, IMO he throw an elbow at Holland, and then picks a fight with Lupul, a "pussy" move. It will be nice to see SJS lose in the second round this year. Just like normal.

Good thing I decided to play Titanfall and go to bed early instead of watching this one.

Orr in over Ashton? Four fights and Orr didn't have a single one? I bet he made everybody feel bigger though.

How?

Glad I missed most of the game.  Even watching the highlights was brutal.  Even considering the circumstances (played a hard game last night, on the road, late start, Reimer hasn't seen action in forever) I expected a little better.

Beauty goals by Gardiner/Raymond, though.  At least there's that.  On to the Kings.
