I don't think they would have traded for him until after the CBA was sorted out even if they are interested.
For sure, why would anyone trade with such uncertainty before hand? I mean regardless of any gm's stance on long term deals ( and I don't recall Burke saying he wouldn't trade for one ) it makes practically no sense to do so before the cba is inked.
