Kadri with 2 goals in a 4-3 OT loss last night.

6 goals and 10 points in the last 5 games.

Good for him, I'm hoping this kid pulls it all together at the professional level and never looks back, next time he gets the call to the big club.

I just hope we don't do the usual (maybe I should say "historic")and ship him off to another team because he doesn't step in and score 50 goals his first season.

Me too. Eakins words to Burke are encouraging.

mirtle: For the second month in a row, a Leafs prospect is AHL player of the month. Kadri wins in November with 17 points in 12 games.

faceoff.com Nazem Kadri the latest Leafs prospect to garner AHL's top player award
"[Kadri] was as dangerous as a player in the league as I've seen this year," said Toronto Marlies head coach Dallas Eakins, adding that the back-to-back winners speaks to the team's depth.

Dallas doesn't always gush praise on his players. He's been fairly reserved about Kadri.

What a missed opportunity to suck up to Wilson.  Interviewer asked "who's the best coach you've ever played for!"...nice way to put Kadri on the spot..  :D

Marlies up 3-2 with 12 mins to go in 2nd.

Kadri goal & assist

Marlies beat Houston 4-0 this afternoon, Owuya with SO makes it tough to send him down to ECHL. His numbers are very impressive 1.78 GAA (Rynnas 3.59), SVS% .936 (Rynnas .879) and 5-2-1 record (Rynnas 4-6-0). With Scrivens back I guess one of them would have to go.

And btw, Marlies have new leading scorer - Marcel Murller - who has considerably improved over his rookie season (21 pts. in 20 games so far). Kadri also got a point giving him 20 pts. in just 16 games.

Very encouraging progress from Kadri.

Also nice to see Mueller and Owuya succeeding as well.

Mueller slides into the top 10 in AHL scoring

Marlies PPG Players this season
Joey Crabb 1.67
Joe Colborne 1.46
Nazem Kadri 1.25
Marcel Mueller 1.05
Mike Zigomanis 1.00
Matt Frattin 1.00

Owuya is 2nd in save% (.936) and GAA (1.78) in the AHL
