Mayor Rob Ford

Anyone listening to 1010 right now? Ford "taking calls" which all seem either pretty safe/censored or maybe even scripted.

This announcement/admission by Ford will probably gain him more sympathy from many people and is a smart political move.
 
Of course Ford wants the video released. Let the shit fall where it does. Then a year from now, when there`s an election, it will be in the distant mind of voters.
 
I may need to check with Alanis Morissette but isn't ironic that Rob Ford would have fired Rob Ford ages ago if he was his employee?

I don't know . . . when it's followed up, later in the show, with him calling himself the best mayor the city has ever had, whatever attempt at making an apology that was rings pretty hollow.

The whole show was completely hollow to me but not everyone may have the same opinion of you or I. I'd guess some admire him even more than they did before. 
 
Doug Ford calling for Chief Bill Blair to resign, suggesting he has bias against the mayor and the whole thing now is a police conspiracy to get Rob.

This is just getting so ridiculous and out of hand it's crazy. 

Rob is like a sideshow but many of the things his brother says are actually kind of dark and way over the top accusatory, etc.  He's always going in with both guns blazing. The violent and dark past this guy apparently had seems to ooze out of everything he does in the present.
