Mikael Grabovski

This will be an ongoing season thing.  When Grabovski goes a few games without a point someone will bump the thread with a "ha, where is Grabovski now?"...when he goes a few games and is hot someone will bump the thread with a "he's better than Bozak!"...

Both statements made me chuckle, which is really what this thread should be all about.

I didn't bother reading your response just looked at the stats for it.  Seems you're driving discussion well so far this year with a 57% REPLY rate despite logging tough discussion minutes starting in the GDT and Leafs Talk.  I expect this to regress as the season goes on.

I agree. It's hard not to like Grabovski, I've never seen a guy take as much of a pounding on a nightly basis and still keep playing hard the way he does.

People knew he wasn't going to keep up the pace of 2.5 PPG, but I don't think he's a .25 PPG either. It will ultimately depend on whether he continues to get the minutes.

As far as him leaving Toronto, I believe it was his contract and the way he fit the team, versus how skilled Grabo is. We've seen enough of him to know that he can play good hockey, I don't expect that to change.

He'll be looked upon fondly from this fan.

EDIT to Add:

Just padding CTB's response stats.

I concur.

WHERE ARE THESE STATS  >:(  >:(

Seriously, I can't find them.  And I like stats.

Most fights I see actually end.

Does it count when you give up because it's just not worth the effort, even though he hasn't, in any way, won you over?

That's what we refer to as a lack of conviction.

I think of it more as a desire not to give myself a concussion from banging my head against the wall repeatedly.

Well, then wasn't the mistake using something soft to try and break a wall in the first place?
