WhatIfGodWasALeaf said:Yeah likewise, they've all of of course taken to social media to proclaim it the 'best gig ever'.
I have 'I am the Resurrection' on repeat here.
WhatIfGodWasALeaf said:But of course!
Brown is a legend too. A friend's brother was a roadie for them back in the day, Mani would come up to his house in Scotland and party for days when we where still in high school, was always good to young guys like us.
I'll probably see them in SF and if not I'll fly down to LA whenever they are on the West Coast.
WhatIfGodWasALeaf said:Yeah I have all the solo stuff too and Mani left to go back with TSR, but I don't think things are over with Primal Scream for good necessarily, good parting terms as far as I know and the Scream have replaced him for now with a girl from My Bloody Valentine as they are supporting TSR during these comeback shows I believe.

Oh ok that makes sense. Was that 'Roses gig your mates were at the one with Beady Eye opening? Out of all their solo stuff and my Squire man-crush aside Brown's Unfinished Monkey Business is my personal favorite. "There are nooo lions in England...no no nooo"....

Beady Eye, The Wailers, Professor Green and Hollie Cook I think made up the opening when last they mentioned it, haven't actually spoken to them in great detail since the gig to find out if that had in fact been the opening lineup on the night, Primal Scream was the night before I believe.
Ian Brown - Whispers is probably the pick of all the solo stuff for me.
WhatIfGodWasALeaf said:Indeed, all in good time hopefully.
WhatIfGodWasALeaf said:I did not, a few buddies did and loved it, I'm happy enough with what I have from them right now. If this comeback really stokes the flames of my interest in them as much as it likely will, I'll probably pick it up.
Haha that's next level fanboy stuff. Well played, sir!Madferret said:Believe this or not but I gave an old guitar I had the Pollock / Squire treatment and sent it to the John Squire fansite that was around when 'Time Changes Everything' came out...lol and I never got any kind of response or the pickguard back <that's all I sent>. Like I said - huge mancrush <and loser>
