Good teams find a way to overcome right? Isn’t that what the expectations on the leafs would be? Seize the opportunity. Which is what my original comment was about until you took it out of context.

And that's it folks. After Knies took that dumb penalty, the game effectively was over. Leafs did not seem to show up after that.

He doesn't have a shot completely useless point guy especially on the PP. One thing to lose some offence but he's struggled even more defensively which probably was his weakness but now has slipped even further.

Duh? But how many of the Leaf top players are out of the lineup tonight? None and they still shit the bed against a non-playoff team. Same old story with this group, no matter how some of you brainiacs try to spin it.

Bad penalty changed everything and the wheels fell off. No effort at all from 88 tonight.
 
in other news Florida lost, Tampa lost, Colorado blew a 4-1 lead to Montreal.

This WAS yet another 3 games in 4 nights/4 in 6 so the bullshit schedule does play a factor. I just hate how aggressively they let up after the first period

They're still tied for 1st and just because you don't think it should happen, good teams lose to bad teams. It happens all the time in the NHL. Hopefully you'll get over that fact.
