Preseason GDT 1: Leafs vs Sens W4-2

That crossover and one-timer between Phaneuf and Liles was pretty good...came close too bad we got penalized after the scramble.
 
Speciality teams have been very good tonight - really like the aggressive PK and the PP generated some good chances. Leafs also did a really good job of keeping their feet moving and drawing penalties. A good effort all around tonight.

Grabbs/Kuli/Mac haven't looked all that great either.

Impresse with the kids though as well as Army/Kadri/Bozak.

It's just so tough to take anything meaningful from preseason games, especially from veterans.  The only guys that are trying are the AHL and bubble guys.

Not sure I'd put much stock into that. But I would imagine two of Armstrong, Grabovski, Komisarek, and Schenn will be wearing the 'A' this season. Maybe they'll rotate.

Did Armstrong say it? When he did a guest appearance on TSN during the playoffs last year he described a goal as being a "half-clapper top-cheddar", which is basically just a half slap-shot to the top of the net. His goal today kind of resembled that so I'm assuming he made a joke about it.

So another thing...how do i get my ipad to scroll down when i want to quote stuff and respond in the text box. I cant figure out how to scroll down. Damn.

I have the same problem on my iPhone, which is why that Tapatalk app was so great. I think the only way is to hold your finger down in the text box until the magnifying glass comes up and then slide your finger down the screen.
